Electrical Test and Inspection

JDM Electrical have a specialist team to carry out electrical testing and inspection in the Chippenham and surrounding Wiltshire areas, including Swindon and Bristol. We also operate across the South West with a large contract that we have for an insurance company. We carry out test and inspection as far as Penzance and Pembroke.

Electrical test and inspection is a very important task within the electrician's role. It tells us that circuits are safe and that they comply with the regulations. It tells us that the protective devices will operate within the safe time limits and that they will prevent someone getting and electric shock should a fault condition arise and problems that may even cause fire..

All of our equipment holds a valid calibration certificate. This ensures that the readings that we take are correct. Because we are qualified and have experience we can interpret readings and understand what they mean to locate a potential problem or know that everything is in good working order.

We test all of our work before and after any installation work is carried out. We also carry out testing for Periodic Inspection Reports for insurance purposes. We have experience of testing in all environments and provide comprehensive documentation in the form of reports and certificates where needed.

We also hold the relevent experiance and knowledge to be able to carry out any remedial works that may be necessary to comply with current regulations.

We hold the City and Guilds 2391 level 3 certification in test and inspection.
